The City of Mississauga installed Illumient Smart Off-Grid lighting in Duncairn Downs Park, located in the Erin Mills Community. It was initiated to support the Green Pillar of the City’s Strategic Plan, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and operating costs. With the long winter nights and short daylight hours in wintertime in Ontario, Smart Off-Grid is the critical factor in ensuring the lights come on as needed regardless of the time of year or climate.
